Question:

What is speedaging? Is it allowed?

Answer:

'Speedaging' is when a horse ages more than one year in any calendar year. For example, if a foal is born, and is then aged to become a three year old, it has been speedaged. This is allowed in BITS, but a horse can only be speed aged once in its lifetime. Its new birth year must not interfere with any of its dam's other foals, and it must remain at least three years younger than both its sire and dam.
