How do I buy a horse?

Answer:

First, look on the Horses For Sale/Wanted board to check out the current listings. To enquire about a horse someone has advertised, either respond to their post or PM them with your questions or your offer. If they decide to sell to you, you will need to send them a cheque and then they will transfer the horse to you in the MHR. The sale is not complete until both of these steps are completed.

If you can't find any horses advertised that you're interested in, you can post a 'Wanted' ad on the same board, asking if anyone has anything available that fits your criteria. Try to be specific in what you ask for, to make it easier for people to look through their stock. If someone offers you a horse you like, the rest of the purchase process will be the same as described above.
