Answer:

There are several options available to new (or old!) players who may be short on cash. You can host a show and collect entry fees, or enter shows offering large prizes. Selling horses is also an excellent option, as is advertising your stallions for public breeding purposes. Keeping track of your AMI points will also gain you some cash if you are active enough. Opening a business, asking around for odd jobs... it's not too difficult to increase your cash flow if you're willing to put a little bit of effort into it!
