Question:

Can I bring a horse into BITS who is based on a Real Life horse?

Answer:

In short, NO. Horses identical, or extremely close to Real Life horses are not permitted in the game unless you personally own that horse in Real Life, or can show me confirmable proof that you have received written permission from the owner to use that horse's likeness in SIM.

Your horses can have the same names as Real Life horses (otherwise we'd be pretty limited in the names available to us, wouldn't we?) as long as they (at minimum) have a different pedigree from the Real Life horse. Horses who are of the same pedigree as a Real Life horse cannot have the same name as that horse.

If this happens accidentally, you will be asked to modify your horse's information in a way that conforms to these rules. Many Real Life horse owners get very unhappy when their horses are used in SIM games, so we like to avoid problems by simply not allowing it.
